If I could have three things in life it would be bacon, basslines, and basketball.
With a desire to share my thoughts, writings, upcoming events, and day to day outings and occasions (okay, and vent) I started my site.
This is me.
The bacon represents the lifestyle pieces because like having blonde hair, eating bacon isn’t a choice, it’s a lifestyle (yes, I’m a brunette but I identify as a blonde).
Music is king. Give me a bassline or give me death. Kanye, Biggie, Nicolas Jaar, Fleetwood Mac, and Frankie Knuckles are some of my favourites . The basslines represents the concerts I attend, the songs I sing/rap/dance to in my car, the beats that blare from my headphones.
Game 7 is my favourite saying in the English language. Sports are the best reality show on TV. They bring people together, create morale, boost economies, heal communities, and evoke a sense of pride. All sports are great, but basketball is my favourite. And sometimes when I’m a little too lost or caught up in my own thoughts, simply having a hoop to yourself at your favourite outdoor court is therapeutic.
